BillerudKorsnäs is aiming to become a leading global player in primary fibre-based packaging materials and packaging solutions by challenging the conventional packaging for a sustainable future. In order to succeed, the company is increasing the focus on creating efficient internal processes.

BillerudKorsnäs´ sales had to be changed from a delegated way of steering based on many years of experience to more structured leadership and documentation. The company started a Business Excellence project. During the project the most important processes were modelled in order to find right solutions to identified problems.


The project has given more time to sales, clients and business growth by creating a more structured operational culture. The roles of sales people and technical service have been clarified as well as actions and support of HR, marketing and R&D. Shared goals and actions will enable the company to take full benefit of the synergy within the whole group from product development to customer care.
